Elmo loves to be tickled.  The Fisher Price TMX Tickle Me Elmo has three tickle spots.  One under his chin, one on his stomach, and one on top of his foot.  Its very fun to see him lay down and slap his stomach, fall on his face beating the ground, standing up and falling backwards kicking his feet and standing up again.  He doesn’t want you to stop, he says “Again! Again!”

TMX is the newest version of the Tickle Me Elmo doll, it was release in 2006.  The TMX acronym stands for  Tickle Me Extreme.  It goes a step further from the original version which only vibrated and laughed.  The TMX Tickle Me Elmo rolls around and laughs while smashing his fist, begging that the tickler stops.  It actually very amusing to watch.  The first time I saw it was on a youtube video.  It was very funny to watch and it had me laughing.  TMX was first announced at the American International Toy fair and had a tv debut on ABC’s Good Morning America.  Elmo comes packaged in a chest with a preview flap, if you try to open it  he says “Ah, ah, ah, ah! No peeking!” and giggles.  This is very clever, the developer must have know many kids would try to get a sneak peak while searching for the doll on shelves.  The TMX Tickle Me Elmo retails for around $40 and requires six AA batteries which come included in the package.  Currently there are three different versions for the TMX Tickle Me Elmo.  The Top Secret box where Elmo says, “Uh uh uh! No peeking! Hahahaha!”  The Warning box, when the flap is opened, elmos says “Elmo feels really ticklish in here! Hahahaha!”  The UK version Top Sercret version, elmo will say “Elmo feels very ticklish in here” etc when lifting the flap.
